abstract:The Tequila Slammer (known in Mexico as muppet, or commonly spelled as mópet) is a cocktail served in a rocks glass. It is made with equal parts tequila and a carbonated beverage, often 7 Up, ginger ale, lemonade, or Mountain Dew (although the original mix was with lime-lemon Yoli -a soft drink from Acapulco- and in the mid-80's with grapefruit flavored Squirt).
