Perhaps it is also helped by the fact there are similarities between its story and key plot points and the phenomenally successful Batmantrilogy that just wrapped up.
That establishes six films in theBatman series, and leads into a third trilogy to up the ante and complete the creation of a fully realized Batman world with most of the main elements from the comics in place.
But while the rest of thetrilogy gets most of the attention and glory these days, Batman Begins is the one that started it all, and it will never be forgotten.
