Rios and his band poured their hearts into both their originals and the covers they played, including the funky stomp of "Do Your Thing" by the great Isaac Hayes and "I Get Lifted, " an obscure groover written by Harry Wayne Casey of none other than K.C. and the Sunshine Band.
