abstract:The Big Chill was an annual festival of alternative, dance and chill-out music and comedy, held in the grounds of Eastnor Castle during early August. The 2011 line up included The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Jessie J, Robert Plant, Calvin Harris, Aloe Blacc, Chipmunk, Katy B & Example.
Mr Littlewood said the estate was trying to find an event to replace TheBigChill, but the current economic climate meant new festivals were not starting up at the moment.
Liz Hill, from Visit Herefordshire, the official tourism body for the county, said TheBigChill did have "a huge impact" as it brought fans to a national event with international names.
