凝结剂（coagulant）又称凝聚剂和凝集剂，能使溶胶凝结的物质。主要是盐类等电解质，其离子能中和胶体粒子的相反电荷 而引起凝结。是用于澄清浑水，净化污水的一种物质，如硫酸铝、明矾就是常用的凝集剂，加入冰中后起化学反应，经过搅拌形成絮状物，促使悬浮杂质沉淀，故有净化水的作用。
