BobbyKotick, CEO of "Call of Duty" publisher Activision, says console games can be as integral to young people's social lives as Facebook and text messaging.
Activision, forever rolling in cash from yearly Call of Duty billion dollar hauls and World of Warcraft subscriptions, has made CEO BobbyKotick one of the top paid executives in the US, according to Reuters.
In an interview, Activision Chief Executive BobbyKotick said he isn't worried about pushback from gamers about the Call of Duty Elite fee because players will still be able to compete against each other online without subscribing to the service.
