The proposed one-mile (1.7km) bypass to the A142, which carries about 15, 000 vehicles per day, is the council's preferred option for dealing with the "traffic bottleneck" near Ely's railway station.
"The risk of orchestrated systems--and the reason that we're all trying to move toward more choreography--is that you can get a bottleneck if the traffic cop can only handle so much traffic at one time, " says Page.
Most Internet traffic comes from outside India, and thus hits the bottleneck of India's publicly owned telecoms companies, which have a monopoly of long-distance telephony and international data exchange.
