And Balaam went with Balak, and they came unto Kirjathhuzoth.

Balaam said to Balak, "Stay here beside your offering while I meet with him over there."

The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he saw part of the people.

When Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came upon him.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said.

Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, "I have sinned." I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me.

When the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, she lay down under Balaam, and he was angry and beat her with his staff.

Then Balaam said to Balak, "Stay here beside your offering while I go aside. Perhaps the Lord will come to meet with me.

They came to Balaam and said: "This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me".

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

Then the Lord opened the donkey's mouth, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?"

When Balak son of Zippor, the king of Moab, prepared to fight against Israel, he sent for Balaam son of Beor to put a curse on you.
那时，摩押王西拨的儿子巴勒起来攻击以色列人，打发人召了比珥的儿子巴兰来咒诅你们。
And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak.
