东南亚金融危机
金融是货币流通和信用活动以及与之相联系的经济活动的总称，广义的金融泛指一切与信用货币的发行、保管、兑换、结算，融通有关的经济活动，甚至包括金银的买卖，狭义的金融专指信用货币的融通。金融危机又称金融风暴(The Financial Crisis) ，是指一个国家或几个国家与地区的全部或大部分金融指标（如：短期利率、货币资产、证券、房地产、土地价格、商业破产数和金融机构倒闭数）的急剧、短暂和超周期的恶化。东南亚金融危机发生于1997年7月至10月，由泰国开始，之后进一步影响了邻近亚洲国家的货币、股票市场和其它的资产价值。
