Dozens of manufacturers such as Sony Corp., Logitech International SA and Toshiba Corp. are readying tablet computers, netbooks, set-top boxes, e-readers and televisions that will run on Android.

There have been plenty of rumors about Dell, Lenovo and Toshiba tablets of all shapes and sizes, but we’ll have to wait until CES to see exactly what they are planning to do with Windows.

Toshiba is one of the few companies left that still offers a full complement of Windows-based Tablet PCs.
