Complementary DNA
...NA)为引物,在tRNA3′桹H末端上,按5′→3′方向,合成一条与RNA模板互补的DNA单链,这条DNA单链叫做互补DNA(complementary DNA, cDNA),它与RNA模板形成RNA桪NA杂交体。随后又在反转录酶的作用下,水解掉RNA链,再以cDNA为模板合成第二条DNA链。

一般来说,检测RNA的方法都需要首先被反转录酶进行反转录形成互补DNA(cDNA),然后在DNA聚合酶的作用下进行扩增检测。
