Theoretic analysis and experimental result indicate that, the optic fiber displacement sensing system which adopts the compensatory technology obviously increases its measuring accuracy and stability.

Based on the fiber optic measurement technology, an experimental prototype was established for gas turbine dynamic gap detection. The system composition was described in detail.
