Patients were followed up either to discharge or death. The timing of operation, length of incisions, complications and healing time of wound were also recorded.

Glasgow Outcome Scores were recorded at ICU discharge and after 6 and 12 months.

Through follow-up visit to the patients with acute pancreatitis, and record of the number of deaths, their relations were analyzed.
