Breastfeeding is normally the best way to feed an infant. A woman infected with HIV, however, can transmit the virus to her child during pregnancy, Labour or delivery, or through breastfeeding.

Because it was a dangerous thing, people died often in childbirth, women died giving birth, and so many children died.

My original birth plan just said: 'Epidural'. Nobody should feel guilty or that they're not a proper woman if they have pain relief during Labour.
