Crystal wall were excised and artery was repaired. The aneurysm body was excised as well as internal carotid artery was rebuilt in the other 5 cases.

Among them, 11 patients underwent aneurysmectomy with artery reconstruction, 3 had resection of aneurysm and ligation of external carotid artery, and the other patient had aneurysmorrhaphy.

This report presents the treatment of 44 cases of Doubly Committed Subarterial Defect (DCSAD) in our hospital from 1986 to 1990.
