The 2nd brigade of the [3rd Mechanized Infantry] Division reached the southern outskirts of Baghdad and is currently located near the intersection of the Baghdad-Amman and Baghdad-Karabela highways.

In the picture you can see a rather big resort area which consists of three lakes: the Yakty-Kul (Bannoye), the Sabakty and the Karabalykty.

Twenty years later, Nagorno-Karabakh is often called a “frozen conflict”. For most people outside the Caucasus, it is more of a forgotten one.
