February 24: China animated brand BlueCat entered into a cooperative agreement with Ve-tech, a electronic educational toy maker, to jointly build up brands for electronic educational toys.

There are numerous brands of MSG on offer, including Wang Sho Yi Chicken Essence Seasoning, whose label features a smiling cartoon chicken giving a thumbs-up.

"Of course this is the first time the historic fashion house of Dior has had a cartoon character model their entire collection, " said an official at Conde Nast Japan, publishers of Vogue Nippon.
