TYPE R Prototype
2017蒙特利尔车展上，本田首次对外展示了TYPE R Prototype（原型车）的内饰。与历史上各代别的思域TYPE R车型一样，新车依旧采用了红黑相间的内饰配色，与外观一样非常具有战斗气息。

Prototype
...以上两个组别是专门为比赛打造的，即英文中所说的prototype（原型车），而GT组则是由已经投入实际生产的车型改装而来。其中GT1组统一使用6.0升自然吸气式引擎，功率可以达到550匹左右。

Protype
...赛车其实可以分成两种一种是基于量产车打造的，比如GT3，发动机底盘外形全部使用原厂另一种是为了赛事而生的原型车（protype），不受量产车限制，最著名的莫过于F1了然而除却F1以外，还有被人知之甚少但是也代表了各大车厂绝对实力的类原型车或者原型车赛事...
