The effects of tip clearance on duct propeller's performance were investigated in six different tip clearances.

The effect of the sawtooth shape tip on tip vortex of the propeller is studied with the theory of vortex dynamics in the paper.

Through the experimental research on single node and poly-leaves cutting, we concluded that poly-leaves cutting is better than single node cutting, and three-leaves cutting is best in effect.
