同步回旋加速器
同步回旋加速器（synchrocyclotron）是为克服经典回旋加速器的极限能量的限制而发展起来的回旋式加速器。又称稳相加速器或调频回旋加速器。它与经典回旋加速器的主要区别在于采用了调频技术，使粒子被加速过程中，加速电场的频率随粒子的回旋频率同步下降，以保持谐振加速条件，从而突破了经典回旋加速器中相对论性质量增加对提高能量的限制（见回旋加速器）。
