A new type self-walking advance timbering support set is adopted in longwall coal mining face of Halagou coal Mine, Shendong coal District by Shenhua Group co.

Taking 2-2 coal seam of Halagou coal mine for example, laneway system and its interrelated parameters with short-wall and continuous mining machine in Shendong mining area were introduced.

By taking the on-site monitoring and research as a tool, the influence of coal mining, coal pillar size and underwater on the roof stability of coal roadways is analyzed.
