此后，他由四川美院调到厦门大学主办起国内第一所美术教育学院，出任厦门大学艺术教育学院院长。
After that, he entered into Xiamen University and undertook establishing of the first domestic Education College of Art, served as the director of Education College of Art of Xiamen University.
Graduated in 1982 from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, and from 1983 to 1986 studied in Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium.
