The earthquake loss distribution map of Central Asia in the forthcoming 50 years is compiled according to rational data of population and GDP distributions.

From the strong earthquake activities since 1500, the seismic ground hazard map in North China is assessed using a deterministic approach method.

Through the distribution map, it is shown that seismic load has limited impact on the distribution of the safety factor though expanding the low safety factor areas.
