场曲又称“像场弯曲”。当透镜存在场曲时，整个光束的交点不与理想像点重合，虽然在每个特定点都能得到清晰的像点，但整个像平面则是一个曲面。这样在镜检时不能同时看清整个像面，给观察和照相造成困难。
