OBJECTIVE:To investigate the safety and efficacy of alanyl-glutamine dipeptide administered via peripheral vein total parenteral nutrition(TPN)in patients after gastrointestinal operation.

Glycidyl butyrate was synthesized from racemic epichlorohydrin and butyric acid by chemical means. The purity of the refined product was over 96% and the yield was about 47%.

The possibility of the eutectic mixture of lidocaine and other local anaesthetic drugs was investigated except for prilocaine.
