By discussed management and utilization of CD attached books in the Dalian Medical University Library, found the scientific management model and then explored the value of the CD.

Conclusions: the utilization of Dalian Medical University Library increased first and decreased afterwards in 2004-2009, but actually the ratio of books kept invariant or increased by a small margin.
