天然丰度
元素丰度即元素的相对含量，是在证认的基础上根据谱线相对强度或轮廓推算出来的。结果表明，绝大多数恒星的元素丰度基本相同：氢最丰富，按质量计约占71%；氦次之，约占27%；其余元素约合占2%。这称为正常丰度。有少数恒星的元素丰度与正常丰度不同，一般说来，这与恒星的年龄有关。
