击球区：棒球比赛中，投手投出的球需要经过的一个规定区域，位于击球手的膝盖和胸部之间，宽度为球板的宽度。如果投手投出的球经过这个区域，而击球手没有击中球，那么这个球将被判定为好球。

好球，正球：对击球员不利的投球，典型的这种球为没有击中，击球出界或被认为已经过了好球区。

好球区也叫好球带，是棒球或垒球比赛中，对投手投出的球的好坏的判断依据。位于本垒板的垂直上空，高度在击球员击球时自然站立姿势的膝盖上沿至腋部之间的立体空间，这个区域叫“好球区”或“好球带”。投手投出的球只要进入好球区，就会判为好球，此时不论击球员是否击打，都要算一击。
