I tackle the perturbation problem of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation because of its importance.

In the first chapter, we briefly introduce the research progress, present situation and main methods of soliton theories and perturbation problems of bright and dark solitons.

The effects of the sliding-frequency guiding filters on reducing soliton phase jitter were theoretically studied by perturbation theory.
