Nilestriol replacement therapy can improve the metabolism of serum lipids and inhibit lipid peroxidation, therefore, it may be of benefit to postmenopausal women with CHD.

CONCLUSION: Nilestriol combined with fluoxetine hydrochloride in the treatment of menopausal depression can improve therapeutic efficacy significantly with little adverse drug reactions.
