This paper analyzes technically and economically the feasibility of producing ammonia by the pyrogenous coal gas from the pyrolyzating plant with circulated fluid bed boiler.

The project takes pyrogenic dry distillation gas of soft coal in continuous retort as the fuel gas and produces ferroalloy coke and crude tar oil.

Coal gas is made by the distillation of the volatile matter from coal with some steaming of the coke to produce water gas.
