The relationships between strain rate and the elastic modulus, critical strain, Poisson's ratio and energy absorption capacity of concrete are still studied.

Deform characteristics of uniform soft subsoil under traffic load is studied, and some parameters of soft subsoil such as elastic modulus, strength indices, poisson ratio are mainly considered.

Based on testing of partial cores taken in two areas, some rock mechanical parameters such as Poison's ratio, Young's modulus, tensile strength are determined.
