微孔滤膜是利用高分子化学材料，致孔添加剂经特殊处理后涂抹在支撑层上制作而成。在膜分离技术应用中，微孔滤膜是应用范围最广的一种膜品种，使用简单、快捷、被广泛应用于科研、食品检测、化工、纳米技术、能源和环保等众多领域。微孔滤膜主要由精制硝化棉，加入适量醋酸纤维素、丙酮、正丁醇、乙醇、等制成，亲水，具有无毒卫生，是一种多孔性的薄膜过滤材料，孔径分布比较均匀穿透性的微孔，微孔率高达80‰的绝对孔径。主要用于水系溶液的过滤，故也称水系膜。
