HP is late to the tablet game, and the mass market doesn't necessarily care about new operating system features, it CARES about what's cool.

That helps explain why HP is far from the only hardware builder that's hedging its tablet bet.

But right now — in the tablet space at least — the problem for Motorola, Samsung, HP, RIM, and anyone else who is challenging Apple becomes infinitely more difficult.
