I hope that the person whom I love will never leave me.

Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for those people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting.

Tonight, I don't want any of us to make this mistake. That's why I'm calling upon all the world's children -- beginning with all of us here tonight -- to forgive our parents, if we felt neglected.
