A study on the suppressive effect of interferon on the formation of filtering surgical scar was carried out.

Conclusion By endoscopic thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy, the patients are lightly injured without scar in the neck. The quality of life is improved.

Results The operation was successful with no complications such as bleeding. No significant scar was observed on the surface of umbilicus after operation.
