在现今的钢结构柱脚设计中，在剪力超过柱脚与混凝土间摩擦力时设抗剪键。它通常用较厚的槽钢或工字钢垂直焊接在柱脚底面的水平钢板上，并埋在砼基础内预留的抗剪槽中，一般用微膨胀混凝土二次浇灌。
