ETS目前的网上报名没有中国大陆地区的，大陆地区考试事物由NEEA（教育部考试中心）代理，估计报名还是国内报，人民币付款。具体方式或许有变（可能性不大），比如付款像G考一样汇款到北京而不是交给当地考点。

教育部考试中心是全国高等教育自学考试指导委员会办公室、教育部高等教育自学考试办公室考试中心。教育部考试中心为教育部"指定承担教育考试专项职责任务并赋有部分行政管理职能的直属事业单位"。 2019年1月15日，中国教育部考试中心与英国文化教育协会在京联合发布雅思、普思考试与中国英语能力等级量表对接研究结果，标志着中国英语语言能力标准与国际考试接轨，中英在教育领域的合作进入新阶段。截至2018年12月，教育部考试中心为社会艺术水平考级机构。
