According to the Chinese ministry, 10,340 Americans studied in China last year, a smaller cohort than the 54,080 from South Korea or 18,870 from Japan.

It is the first Japanese university accepting the Chinese students. Waseda University has maintained close exchange and cooperation with Chinese educational institutions for many years.

Some were published in Chinese mainland and the others were published by Chinese students in Japan.
