The modified bentonite has better qualities and ability of decolorization, sweeten and removing heavy metal cations and aromatic compounds and hard biodegradable harmful organic compounds.

The result showed that the use of bentonite and organic matter could improve the content of sandy soil water and soil organic matter. The analysis of variance showed a significant difference.

It is suggested that the dominant status of adsorption and partition is related to the property of organic compounds and the proportion of the long-chain alkyl quaternary ammonium cation.
