核心通胀(core inflation) Core inflation is a measure of inflation which excludes certain items that face volatile price movements, notably food and energy. It's more stable than CPI because core inflation eliminates products that can have temporary price shocks (i.e. energy, food products). Core inflation is thus intended to be an indicator and predictor of underlying long-term inflation. 所谓核心通胀率,就是指消费价格指数中剔除食品和能源价格变化之后的价格变化率。考虑食品和能源价格变化较为频繁、变化幅度较大、受供给方面因素影响较大的特点,剔除他们的影响有利于更为准确的判断价格总水平和社会总供求平衡状况。
