AIM: To investigate the behavioral outcomes in patients with lumbar spinal stenosis improved by systemic rehabilitation education in the perioperative period.

Objective To appraise the efficacy of surgical treatment and postoperative rehabilitation of lumbar disc herniation accompanied by lumbar stenosis in the elderly.

Conclusion. In patients undergoing surgery for degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis, the preoperative type of leg pain predicts function and leg symptom outcomes.
