According to the moving properties of Geneva and the chain driving mechanism, a shifting roller Geneva mechanism was developed by using the methods of the mechanical synthesis.

Comparing with the general Geneva mechanism, it has the feature of higher bearing capacity, longer service life, and it applies to heavy-duty machinery. It has good prospects.

The purpose of this research is aimed at the kinematic analysis for the transfer cam-linkage mechanism of a blow-molding machine.
