母联就是把母线连接起来的，它上面一般有隔离开关和断路器，目的是为了增加供电可靠性，平时一般是断开的。两边一般分别接两个不同的变压器，如果一个变压器坏了，把断路器和隔离开关闭合就能用另一台变压器继续供电给关键负荷。
