洞螈
洞螈（亦称盲螈，学名：Proteus anguinus），是一种两栖类动物。由于它的身体呈灰色、粉红色，斯洛文尼亚和克罗地亚当地居民将它们称为“人鱼”。洞螈栖息于第拿里阿尔卑斯山脉石灰岩溶洞的地下水脉中，分布区域从意大利第里雅斯特附近的伊松佐河盆地，穿过斯洛文尼亚南部、克罗地亚西南部，最远到达赫塞哥维纳。这个物种也是洞螈属下的唯一一个种。此外，它是欧洲唯一一种穴居的脊索动物，斯洛文尼亚的旧货币上，有洞螈的图样。
