Objective: To observe effect and security of racecadotril granules on acute diarrhea in infants.

Each group was treated with conventional colligate therapy. Besides, the treatment group received additional Racecadotril in order to compare the effect of two groups.

Conclusion on the basis of routine treatment, adding Racecadotril to treat infantile diarrhea can relatively quickly stave off illness. It is worthy to recommend its clinical use.
