Tracking and erosion test on insulators and shed material was made under service condition.

This paper introduces a new copper foil adhesive for bakelite paper laminate. The adhesive raises the comparative tracking index (CTI), proof welding, peel strength of the laminate.

On this base, the method of uncertainty evaluation in testing laboratory was analyzed. And some advices which need been attended in evaluation of uncertainty were put forward.
