烟粉虱（学名：Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius）是一种世界性的害虫。烟粉虱属渐变态昆虫，其个体发育分卵、若虫、成虫3个阶段。若虫3龄，通常将第3龄若虫蜕皮后形成的蛹称伪蛹或拟蛹。成虫主要寄生于叶背面，体淡黄白色，翅2对，白色，被蜡粉无斑点，比温室白粉虱小。原发于热带和亚热带区，20世纪80年代以来，随着世界范围内的贸易往来，烟粉虱借助花卉及其他经济作物的苗木迅速扩散，在世界各地广泛传播并暴发成灾，现已成为美国、印度、巴基斯坦、苏丹和以色列等国家农业生产上的重要害虫。（概述图参考来源：）
