Oil the metal cups in the popover pan and place a tiny bit of butter in the bottom of each cup from the bits you cut up.

Heat the griller; lift a piece of beef with a tong to coat the excess oil onto the griller.

Then put it in the baking tray or in the electric baking pan and you should put some oil under it first.
