热敏开关
热敏开关是利用双金属片各组元层的热膨胀系数不同，当温度变化时，主动层的形变要大于被动层的形变，从而双金属片的整体就会向被动层一侧弯曲，则这种复合材料的曲率发生变化从而产生形变的这个特性来实现电流通断的装置。开水煲的温控开关，日光灯的起辉器就是一个很好的例子。一般带加热的电器都要用到这个部件。它的原理就是双金属片原理。
